Hangar J Aviation is a specialized aircraft repair and recovery facility focused on Carbon Cub and CubCrafters aircraft, as well as other backcountry and taildragger platforms.

Built on over 20 years of hands-on experience, we provide structural repair, fabric work, engine inspection, paint, and full aircraft recovery services. As an AP/IA-certified operation, every aircraft is handled with a high level of precision, attention to detail, and real-world understanding of how these aircraft are flown and used.

We’re not a high-traffic shop, and we’re not built for volume. Our facility is private by design. Aircraft are stored indoors and handled discreetly—without unnecessary exposure, photos, or public attention. When an incident happens, the focus should be on getting the aircraft repaired and back in the air, not turning it into a public situation.

We offer full aircraft recovery from the field and can coordinate directly with your insurance provider or work privately with you, depending on your preference. Throughout the repair process, we provide consistent progress updates so you know exactly where things stand.
